Purpose and method of use
Mineral File, Laser File, and Buffer/Polisher
Used for shaping natural and artificial nails, as well as for smoothing and polishing the nail plate.
Soft abrasives do not damage the nail and do not cause splitting.
The laser file is also suitable for treating the skin around the nail.
How to Use a Nail File
Choose a file with the appropriate grit and shape. File the nail without applying pressure.
Use the coarser side of the buffer to remove shine, and the softer side to polish only dry nails.
Choose a quality tool from our Catalog.
How to choose
– Choose the file according to the nail type (natural or artificial) and the procedure: shaping, polishing, or smoothing.
– Pay attention to the grit level — the higher the number, the softer the file. Buffers are ideal for final polishing.
– Select the file shape: straight for precise shaping, crescent for working near the cuticle.
– Laser nail files have different levels of abrasiveness on each side — choose the shape that is most comfortable for you.
Laser files are reusable — proper care is essential.
Maintenance and care
– Mineral files and buffers are single-use and must be disposed of after use.
– Store in a dry place at +5 to +25°C, out of reach of children.
– Laser files must be disinfected and sterilized in full compliance with all recommended steps. Avoid using acids or alkalis.
– For more details, see the Disinfection and Sterilization section.
Common Mistakes in Tool Care
Cleaning the abrasive surface of laser files with metal-bristle brushes or abrasive tools leads to dulling of the microblades and loss of effectiveness.
Exceeding the recommended time or concentration of disinfectant, using low-quality solutions, processing wet or dirty tools, poor-quality equipment, or storing tools in a damp environment can also reduce tool performance.
Cautions
– Visually inspect the file before use to ensure there is no damage. Do not use damaged or deformed tools.
– Use the tool only as intended. Do not reuse mineral files or buffers — this violates hygiene standards.
– Do not disinfect mineral files — they are intended for individual, single-use only.
– Only professional cleaning products for laser files should be used to preserve their lifespan.
