How to Use a Nail Drill Bit
According to the procedure, choose a bit with the appropriate shape and grit. Insert the bit into the machine and check that it is securely fixed. Work with smooth motions, without applying pressure, and avoid overheating.

How to choose
– Abrasive type: Fine or medium grit is suitable for cuticle work; medium or coarse grit is used for skin and nail treatment.
– Coating: A diamond bit should have an even coating that doesn’t crumble. A carbide bit should have clear, undamaged notches, without chips or deformation.
– Shape and size: Chosen based on purpose — for lifting and cleaning the cuticle, nail filing, or smoothing.
– Shank diameter standard: 2.35 mm — compatible with all electric nail drills.
– Left-handed carbide bits have specific features — the notches are oriented in the opposite direction.
Nail drill bits are designed for multiple uses — proper care is essential.
Maintenance and care
– Clean the bits from dust and product residue after each use.
– Store in a dry place at +5 to +25°C, out of reach of children.
– Disinfect according to the instructions — do not use acids or alkalis.
For more details, see the Disinfection and Sterilization section.
Common Mistakes in Tool Care
Exceeding the recommended time or concentration of disinfectant, using low-quality solutions, processing wet or dirty tools, contact between bit notches during loading into a tray or ultrasonic cleaner, poor-quality equipment, or storing tools in a damp environment.
Cautions
– Visually inspect the bits before use to ensure they are free of damage and that the coating or notches are even. Do not use damaged or faulty tools.
– Use the tool only as intended, and keep it clean and dry after each use.
– Avoid overheating and vibration during operation. If needed, replace the bit or adjust the speed and pressure applied.
– Protect the tool from drops and impacts.
